Information surrounding the products we offer at DIPSODA
You can select either a Standard Snap Case or Impact Tough Case when purchasing a DIPSODA case.
Choose the Standard Snap case for lightweight protection from scrapes and scratches, or the more durable Impact Tough Case, which includes a black silicone insert for added durability and great drop protection.
With our Snap cases, you'll need to ensure you push hard to get the case to 'snap' onto your phone. They are designed for a tight fit so your phone is protected. The snap cases have cutout detailing around the buttons and ports to allow the device's own aesthetics to show through.
Our Impact Tough cases come in two parts. Remove the black rubber insert from the hard outer shell and apply it to your phone first. Then apply the outer shell to the black rubber insert. This ensures it's been applied to your phone correctly for added durability and protection.
Our rubber phone cases are available in black and clear. They offer all-round protection by covering all sides and the back of your device. The glossy design is printed onto an aluminium plate that adheres to the case.
All cases are tested to ensure they fit the phone model prior to sending.
Our snap cases are a very tight and snug fit. The best way to apply the case to your phone is to insert the top of your phone into the case first, ensuring the top corners snap over the edge of the your phone. Next, push the phone into the case down the sides towards the bottom of your device. To finish, snap the bottom corners of the case over your phone.
Please note: the iPhone 12, iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 models are squarer in shape. The cases require a harder application to get them to snap onto the phone. We suggest you follow the steps above on how to apply the case to your phone. The snap cases have a lip that need to really snap over the edge of these iPhone models.
As the tough case is designed to be a snug and tight fit to your phone, it provides more protection for your phone. You may find that the buttons are harder to press when first applied. You must ensure that the buttons on the black rubber insert are properly pushed out before applying it to your phone. We also suggest that whilst the black rubber insert is on your phone, try lifting the insert and stretching it slightly away from your phone. This can help to relieve some of the pressure the case is putting on your buttons.
After some usage, you'll find that the buttons become easier to press. Many new items are stiff to begin with but loosen after some usage.
Our snap and impact tough cases are compatible with wireless charging. Please be advised that it will depend on the wireless charger as to how well the wirless charging will work.
Our rubber cases are not compatible with wireless charging due to the aluminium plate that the design is printed on.
If a product comes with customisation options, it will say so on the products page.
We accept all major debit and credit cards. We also accept PayPal.
If you have made more than one payment attempt, the failed payments will not be taken from your bank account. When a transaction is processed through our store, we carry out fraud prevention checks and get authorisation from your bank before any funds are taken.
When your transaction is sent for authorisation by your bank, checks are carried out. An authorisation request is sent to your card issuing your bank to ensure the funds are available to make the payment. If there are funds, your bank will place a reserve on your account for the amount of the transaction. This allows the funds to be taken from your bank account, known as a shadow.
Even after authorisation, your transaction can still fail. If your transaction fails after the authorisation, the funds will still be reserved on your bank account. Although they have not been taken from your account, they will appear to have been taken.
The reserve can last up to 7 working days before it’s lifted. This is not controlled by us and we cannot remove this from your bank account.
If you want to get the reserve lifted, you’ll need to speak directly with your card’s bank. They’ll be able to help with removing the reserve and make the funds available to you.
No. The reserve only highlights the funds to be taken from your bank account; they are not actually taken. Once the reserve is removed from your bank account, the funds will appear in your bank account again.
