Will an iPhone XR case fit an iPhone 11?

The simple answer. No.

The release of the iPhone 11 bought major rear design changes, which means an iPhone XR case will not fit it. Although both phone models are the same size, the camera adjustments on the back of the iPhone 11 means that iPhone XR cases are not compatible with the iPhone 11. If you do try and put an iPhone XR case on the iPhone 11, you’ll end up covering the camera flash. So, in reality they do fit the same cases. But the iPhone 11 will have its camera flash compromised.

Both iPhone models are available in a range of colours, with the iPhone 11 range opting for pastel hues. This has made the device a more popular choice when purchasing from the new iPhone collection.

The biggest different between the iPhone XR and iPhone 11 is the camera. The iPhone 11 has a rear dual camera which includes fantastic features such as a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. It has optical image stabilisation and a brighter True Tone flash and six effects Portrait Lighting, making it great for those perfect selfies. The iPhone 11’s best feature is the new Night Mode. It provides your images with so much more in low light conditions, meaning your night photos can look like they’ve been taken in a high light environment. It’s ever so clever.

Another great feature on the iPhone 11 comes in the form of the slow-motion video option using the front camera. Apple has named this form of media a ‘Slofie’. It’s a bit gimmicky, but it’s definitely worth a try if you’re up for some fun.

Let's conclude

If you try and put an iPhone XR case on an iPhone 11, the case will fit the shape but part of the camera will be covered on the iPhone 11, rendering it useless.

That's why we believe you should purchase a proper case for the iPhone 11 to fit it properly.
